Here you are, onto the final mission, The Pillar of Autumn in Halo: Reach. Love the video, helped a lot. I'd just like to add that from the top of the sniper tower (facing towards where the Pelican lands) to the left down the hill, is a dead soldier. And he has a decent amount of DMR ammo if you run out :)

Also, at the base of the sniper tower there is a case that looks like it's shut. Hit that case from the back side to move it out and away from the wall a bit then...Viola! - a DMR/Shotgun cache is revealed.

This will save you a lot of time. Just sit behind the gun ready to push X and jump in now, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, you get the picture. when the voice says "now soldier shoot her in the belly" jump into the gun and shoot the red underbelly of the ship. One shot & Done. Easypeasy. No need to try and figure out what order to shoot those other ships in. :)
Per my comment below, it is intended for the very last stage of Pillar of Autumn (Legendary). Sorry, I should have made that clear the first time.
Whenever I finish holding the position and making my way to the MAC gun by the time I get to the gun the ship is already firing because of those zealots any help?
