How to Play the Crysis 2 Multiplayer Demo on Xbox 360 (Coming Soon to PC, March 1st)

Feb 16, 2011 04:38 PM

Crysis was an amazing game. And Crysis Warhead was great, too. If you haven't played them, you sure missed a great ride on the action train. But don't worry, you can get your feet wet with the newest edition to Crytek's Crysis series—Crysis 2—available from Electronic Arts.

A demo of the multiplayer mode became available earlier this month for the Xbox 360 on Xbox Live, and now the multiplayer taster is slated for March 1st on PCs (sorry PS3 gamers). The PC demo will feature two new maps called Skyline and Pier 17, a map which has "an open environment with limited cover."

It'll also contain two game modes: Team Instant Action, where you have to kill as many enemies as possible to win, and Crash Site, where players fight to maintain control of alien drop pods. [via vg247]

You'll be able to download the Crysis 2 demo from the Crysis 2 website. The full game itself will be available on March 22, 2011 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. You can pre-order now, if you'd like.

Until then, check out these walkthroughs from Crytek and EA on some of the new features, like the Nanosuit, along with a general outline of the multiplayer gameplay on the demos.
